Jason was the founder of MyParadox in November 2010. He has a passion for well made documentaries and wanted to make them himself. With no equipment or money just good ideas he set about forming the team starting with John Bucknall. Within 8 months of starting MyParadox are working with broadcast quality equipment. The photo left was taken while Jason was on a planning trip to Gambia West Africa, for an up and coming documentary. Yes it is a real life crocodile.
Dallas Harley Jones is based in London and with many years experience with various arts projects. His work has ranged from being a theatre & stage actor, a writer & songwriter with music production skills to vocal & comedy skills. Best described as a character actor, he is currently involved with a newly formed team of comedy writers 'The Chesterton's' together with small film & voice over projects including My Paradox.
John doesn't remember a time in his life not having a strong desire to direct feature films and draw comics. Interest in comics made it a natural transition to get work as a storyboard artist for a number of film companies. Not only has he worked for director Christopher Nolan as an extra in the Batman Begins film but has also done work as a concept artist. Other talents include painting, photography and film editing. John feels his eclectic interest helps keep his work fresh and original. Using new contacts from the industry, his ambition is to continue learning the craft by creating music videos and short films to gain knowledge on fulfilling that desire to direct feature films.
Armed with a passion for storytelling and a few good ideas, Olivia aims to cover all aspects of film development and pre-production. She is a keen writer whose work has been showcased at the BFI in London and Channel 4.
Olivia is now working with myparadox as a casting director. She is working a long side Jason on the Gambia project Which is planned to be filmed in March 2012.
